Description The initiative will focus on an accelerated programme to increase the quantity and quality of cattle in the country. The initiative involves application of genetic material like semen, embryo and DNA products in commercial production farms where breeding cattle are reared intensively under feedlot conditions. Bulls are placed in special compartment within the shed to service all females on heat. Alternatively artificial breeding can be implemented to complement natural mating.
