Key Projects

Projects in the agriculture sector can be further classified under the following sub-clusters:

Crop agriculture are expected to experience tremendous growth, especially with the establishment of several intensive fruit and vegetable farming initiatives.

Fisheries sector also has high development potential. There is a large domestic market and increasing demand, and there already exist a growing market for freshwater fish-based products.

Livestock rearing is a mainstay for smallholders and land scheme settlers in the ECER. It is expected to generate further income in meeting greater domestic demand.
