Education in the ECER
An important factor for sustainable economic growth is to have skilled and knowledgeable talents. In this regard, ECER aims to support educational development for both Malaysian and international students.
Human capital development will play a dual role in the ECER:
1. As an economic driver and a catalyst for growth, whereby one of the key targets of the ECER is the creation of about half a million new job opportunities by the year 2020. The ECER Master Plan for education is to develop and prepare quality human resource to fill this need.
2. As a key enabler that supports the development of other sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing and tourism in terms of human resource and capability development
Students in the ECER can look forward to a bright future and rewarding career prospects.
