Description Malaysia continued to attract high levels of investments in the manufacturing sector in 2006. A total of 1,077 projects were approved involving investments of RM46 billion in 2006.
Through ECER's initiatives, it is expected that the value of investments to grow.
Thus, the role and activity of manufacturing cluster in East Coast Economic Region will need to be further enhanced and diversified through the creation of ECER Primary and Secondary Manufacturing Corridors. This, in turn, will increase the demand for industrial property.
There is much opportunity in industrial property development due to major investments in various industries such as manufacturing, agriculture and oil, gas and petrochemical that are expected to grow rapidly.
