The Region targets Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers involved in the production of battery modules, steel and composite materials to build a complete automotive value chain. In addition, ECERDC is facilitating investment in RV assembly plants in Pahang, supported by maintenance and parts supply centres serving domestic and regional markets.
With its strategic connectivity through the ECRL and major ports, ECER offers investors a competitive base for automotive manufacturing that supports both national sustainability targets and regional export expansion.
