Major Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Strategic Communications Leadership<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Lead the implementation of integrated communication strategies that enhance ECERDC\u2019s visibility, credibility and stakeholder engagement across all platforms.<\/li>\n
    • Develop the internal communications strategy and lead the execution of the approved internal communications plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Divisional Oversight and Performance Management<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Oversee the planning, coordination, and performance of three key units:\n
          \n
        1. Brand & Events<\/li>\n
        2. Media Relations<\/li>\n
        3. Creative & Digital Media<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        4. Ensure alignment of communication outputs with corporate branding, stakeholder needs and approved KPIs.<\/li>\n
        5. Provide leadership in planning, budgeting, coaching and KPI tracking to drive continuous improvement within the division.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        6. Content, Editorial and Public Relations Management<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Supervise the development of corporate materials including annual reports, media releases, articles, newsletters and brochures, ensuring quality, accuracy and bilingual consistency (English and Bahasa Melayu).<\/li>\n
          • Oversee public relations and media management activities, including issue management, editorial direction, media engagement and strategic communications initiatives in collaboration with appointed vendors.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Digital and Social Media Oversight<\/strong>\n
              \n
            • Drive the enhancement of ECERDC\u2019s digital presence, including oversight of the corporate website, microsites and official social media platforms.<\/li>\n
            • Guide the development of content strategies to strengthen online engagement an reinforce ECERDC\u2019s brand positioning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • Branding, Events and Creative Direction<\/strong>\n
                \n
              • Lead strategic direction for ECERDC\u2019s brand positioning and identity across all communication and event-related activities.<\/li>\n
              • Provide oversight for the planning and execution of corporate and investment promotion events, ensuring alignment with protocol standards and brand presence.<\/li>\n
              • Guide the overall creative direction for ECERDC communications, including ATL and BTL materials, by working closely with the Creative and Digital Media unit and appointed creative vendors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
              • Budget, Governance and Agency Management<\/strong>\n
                  \n
                • Monitor and manage the division\u2019s budget, ensuring prudent utilisation and alignment with approved allocations.<\/li>\n
                • Oversee the performance and deliverables of retainer creative and event agencies, and appointed PR and communication-related vendors, in line with ECERDC’s mandate and brand direction.<\/li>\n
                • Support implementation of corporate governance practices and internal communication initiatives to foster a unified organisational culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                • Others<\/strong>\n
                    \n
                  • Oversee the administration and handling of public enquiries including ensuring timely responses and coordination with relevant units.<\/li>\n
                  • Ensure proper handling of related procurement and administrative matters, including preparation of documentation for management approval and compliance with internal processes.<\/li>\n
                  • Support other cross-functional tasks within the division as assigned by the General Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Position Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      \n
                    • Possess a Bachelor\u2019s and\/or Master\u2019s Degree in Business Administration\/ Marketing\/ Communications, preferably majoring in Advertising and Public Relations or any other related discipline from recognized University.<\/li>\n
                    • Minimum ten (10) years of working experience in area of communications.<\/li>\n
                    • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Branding and Communications.<\/li>\n
                    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Bahasa Melayu & English.<\/li>\n
                    • Ability to multi-task at all times, manage tight deadlines and provide the best solutions during difficult situations.<\/li>\n
                    • Creative and pro-active, with editorial skills and a sharp eye for details.<\/li>\n
                    • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage time for peak performance.<\/li>\n
