The 2-storey building was built on ¾ acre of land and is located strategically along Jalan Pekan-Rompin. It will accomodate 10 retail outlets and 3 restaurants, operated by local entrepreneurs. The objective of developing the SME Complex is to promote business opportunities and jobs for the locals, making it a one stop center for tourist and travellers to shop for local food and products. At the same time, the activities in that area will help to elevate the image of Pekan as a tourist center.
