entrepreneur ECER

The entrepreneur ECER programme supports participants in their efforts to scale their micro enterprises into Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) by helping them improve productivity, increase market penetration and further expand into international markets. ECERDC facilitates this process at every stage, from helping entrepreneurs secure seed funding to mentoring them in the process of scaling up their operations and including them in international trade missions.

a) Entrepreneurial Enhancement
ECERDC works alongside SIRIM to equip participants with the skills for success, including industry-specific technical skills, sales and marketing, business strategy, leadership as well as product development.

b) Funding Assistance
ECERDC facilitates funding for entrepreneurs to expand their businesses via collaborations with Maybank and Agrobank, and even absorbs 50% of the bank charges in order to ease their financial commitment throughout the funding period.

c) Market & Match
ECERDC supports and funds entrepreneurs who produce distinctive Malaysian products and are export-ready to participate in international expos and trade exhibitions. Arrangements are made to facilitate business-matching opportunities for the entrepreneurs’ products to enter the international market.
