SENIKOME PÉNG HENG
In 2017, the East Coast Arts & Cultural Center “SeniKome Péng Heng” was opened at First World Plaza in Genting Highlands, Pahang. It is one of the private investor initiatives in ECER in maintaining the artistic and cultural heritage of the region, which is now one of the major tourist attractions at the resort.
The uniqueness of the center lies in its immersive exhibition, where tourists can see a variety of their own handicrafts and own various handicrafts, games, food and local music from the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, including from the local Orang Asli community. This is in line with ECER’s goal of preserving and maintaining local cultural heritage and culture for future generations.
