Berbekalkan kelebihan sumber semula jadi yang kaya serta potensi kawasan baharu, ECER telah berkembang sebagai destinasi pembuatan yang berdaya saing dan menyokong transformasi perindustrian negara selaras dengan Pelan Induk Perindustrian Baharu 2030.<\/p><p>Strategi pembuatan ECERDC memberi tumpuan kepada pengukuhan subsektor kimia, mineral dan automotif, disokong oleh penggunaan tenaga boleh diperbaharui serta penyelesaian penyahkarbonan. Pelaburan awam terus disalurkan ke arah pembangunan infrastruktur, utiliti dan ekosistem perindustrian bagi membolehkan aktiviti pembuatan yang mampan serta bernilai tinggi.<\/p><p>Kelompok pembuatan berat di Wilayah ini tertumpu secara strategik di Kompleks Petrokimia Bersepadu Kertih, Kompleks Petrokimia Bersepadu Gebeng dan Taman Perindustrian Malaysia China Kuantan. Kluster ini disokong oleh inisiatif tenaga boleh diperbaharui serta penangkapan, penggunaan dan penyimpanan karbon bagi membantu industri memenuhi komitmen kelestarian.
