Manager, Terengganu Regional Office

POSITION                    : MANAGER

REGIONAL OFFICE    : TERENGGANU

LOCATION                 : TERENGGANU

Major Responsibilities

  • Liaise with regional stakeholders in the implementation and coordination of ECER plans and objectives.
  • Maintain working-level partnership with Federal, State and Local Agencies to facilitate fast track review/approval process.
  • Implement appropriate policies and strategies for effective relationship and communication.
  • Facilitate implementation of projects and monitor rollout of projects within the development areas.
  • Maintain working relationship with key investors to facilitate project implementation.
  • Facilitate ECER business attraction and development efforts, coordinate programmes and incentives for companies looking to grow in the region.
  • Assist and support the Senior Manager in initiatives undertaking to gauge investor confidence in the region.
  • Assist and support the Senior Manager in the dissemination of information on current legal, political and economic development in the region to prospective and potential clients.
  • Assist and support the Senior Manager in maintaining business intelligence, public perception and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Manage, monitor and report the performance of Anchor Company and Implementation Agency.
  • As and when required to identify suitable land for new project development.
  • Support the budget plan, review and monitor the utilization in accordance with the approved limit.
  • Prepare, consolidate and track Terengganu Regional Office’s
  • Monitor staff’s performance.

Position Requirements

  • Possess Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration / Management / Business Development / Public Administration / Project Management or any other related discipline from recognized University.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of working experience with minimum five (5) years at managerial position.
  • Possess strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Results driven, a team player, pro-active and flexible.
  • Excellent communications skills in Bahasa Melayu & English.
  • Ability to multi-task at all times and work with tight deadlines.
  • Have strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Pleasant personality and highly committed.
