Senior Executive, Project Management Office, Corporate Strategic Planning


Major Responsibilities

1. Management Information Sheet (MIS)

  • Plan and arrange for the PRC meeting;
  • Review MIS paper and provide comments to Project Teams; and
  • Follow up on paper approval and implementation of the approved decision.

2. Strategic Review and Monitor Performance

  • Former Areas of DARA & LKWJ:
    • Facilitate the approval of new projects under the Special Fund for the Former Areas of DARA & LKWJ;
    • Prepare recommendation for fund disbursement to District Councils for newly approved projects, awarded projects and variation works;
    • Provide reports analysis on progress against planned milestones, resource requirements (budget), issues, risks and dependencies;
    • Monitor project implementation and budget utilization by the District Councils via Regional Office Pahang and provide report to Senior Manager;
    • Monitor implementation of Strategic Projects by ECERDC Project Teams and provide report to Senior Manager;
    • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders;
    • Provide risk assessment report on newly proposed projects to be implemented and current implemented projects; and
    • Review current SOP and work guidelines, as and when required.
  • Projek Kecil/Berimpak Tinggi/People Centric:
    • Facilitate the approval of projects under the Special Fund for Projek Kecil/Berimpak Tinggi/People Centric;
    • Engage with ECERDC Project Teams on the submission of reports for internal and external stakeholders.

3. Strategic Review and Monitor Perfomance

  • Maintain good working relationship with relevant Government agencies/authorities and other related stakeholders; and,
  • Execute strategic alliances and partnerships with industry players and government agencies to achieve the set objectives.


  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Survey, Building Science, Construction Management or related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum four (4) years’ working experience in constructions or any related field.
  • Experienced in Project Management and PMP qualification is an added advantage.
  • Strong skills in MS Project, Primavera, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Collating information and organizing material into manageable form.
  • Able to prepare and present effective written and oral reports.
