KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 (Bernama) — Pahang has continued to successfully attract investors, generating RM47.7 billion in investments as at July 2016, which in turn created over 48,000 jobs.
In a statement here today, the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) said the state’s four industrial parks — Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP); Gambang Halal Industrial Park; Pekan Automotive Park; and, Kuantan Integrated Biopark — continued to be the key investment drivers.
“Collectively, these parks received investments amounting to RM12.5 billion that had been approved for the period between 2007 and July 2016, which in turn are expected to create 13,760 job opportunities…..
