POSITION: MANAGER, STRATEGIC PLANNING
DIVISION: CORPORATE STRATEGIC PLANNING
LOCATION: PUTRAJAYA
Major Responsibilities
- Devise and recommend a strategic planning framework and provide strategic planning support for ECERDC and to other strategic initiatives including the analysis of reports and studies by Government.
- Facilitate the preparation of analysis report on Government’s policies including, but not limited to environmental, physical plan and strategic studies.
- Monitor and analyse the development of the economy, industry, markets and regulatory environment related to ECER and submit report Senior Manager.
- Highlight policy changes by Federal, State & Local authorities to the Management and disseminate the changes to Management.
- Liaise with the Federal and State Governments, Statutory Bodies, Authorities, Agencies and other Stakeholders.
- Prepare various strategic papers/presentations/proposals for internal and external consumption.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by Management related to regional economic development initiatives.
Position Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Economics/Spatial Planning/Finance/Business Administration/Accounting or any other related discipline from a recognised university.
- Minimum six (6) years of working experience preferably in business development, strategic planning, or economic policy formulation.
- Familiar with preparation of board/management papers, strategic frameworks and proposals.
- Key competencies required include strategic thinking, stakeholder management, analytical capabilities and results focused with an ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Good command of Bahasa Melayu and English.
- Willing to travel.
