KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Pertanian Malaysia (BPM) plans to launch several new
products and services for the farming community, especially those involved in
project in the East Coast Economic Region (ECER), by June.
In a statement, it said the initiatives were part of efforts to bolster its presence
and exposure to the farming community.
“Several new loan products and services are in the pipeline and expected to be
launched in the second quarter to cater to the growing needs of the farming
community,” general manager Martini Osman said.
To further complement these initiatives and provide easy access to credit, BPM
was reviewing the lending policies, delivery system and upgrading of its
information and communications technology system, she said.
